Developer proposes apartment building on site of food cart pod near Portland State

A Portland-dependent developer has filed an software to make a 7-story condominium constructing on the downtown site of a food stuff cart pod near Portland Condition College.

SERA Architects and Florida-based developer Mill Creek Household Trust filed an application on March 9 proposing a 40,000 sq.-foot blended-use making at Southwest Fifth Avenue and Higher education Road.

The software describes the challenge as a 7-story market price condominium constructing with about 250 residential units, basement parking and retail on the floor flooring.

The software was initial mentioned by architect and progress blogger Iain MacKenzie.

Neither SERA nor Mill Creek responded to thoughts about the proposed growth, or irrespective of whether there are designs to relocate the meals cart suppliers that now use the website.

The proposal is nevertheless in its earliest stages. The developer will hold a pre-application conference to discuss it with metropolis officials following month, right after which it could apply a making permit or abandon the proposal.

It’s not likely a redevelopment of the web-site is far off in any circumstance.
