One dead, one injured in shooting at Canton apartment complex

CANTON – Canton police say they are investigating a double capturing that still left one particular individual dead and yet another wounded.

Investigators were being named just immediately after 2 a.m. Sunday to the Victory Square Apartments at 1206 Lippert Highway NE, according to a news release from Main John Gabbard.

Stanley Calhoun, 25, was uncovered in the entrance lobby place. He had been shot in the upper body. He was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Healthcare facility, where he was pronounced dead at 2:35 a.m., police mentioned.

A next taking pictures target, Julie Williams, 63, was taken to Mercy Clinic for a gunshot to the higher arm region, an injury police explained as not lifestyle-threatening.
