ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Inhabitants at the Ashton Heights Flats in Roanoke whose properties had been flooded with uncooked sewage are becoming transferred to unique residences five times following the trouble began.
Tuesday early morning, WDBJ7 noticed the sewage masking the condominium flooring. Wednesday afternoon, crews and contractors had commenced cleaning up the raw sewage.
The apartment’s property supervisor instructed WDBJ7 in an e-mail administration is operating with contractors to fix the trouble.
“Once the contractor arrived on Tuesday, they ended up capable to jet the line and get the line unclogged,” Cheyenne Altice reported.
The Director of the Western Virginia H2o Authority spelled out why it’s up to the condominium proprietor to choose treatment of it.
“Anything on the private side is the duty of the home owner,” Sarah Baumgardner claimed.
